How to Watch DAZN in Australia
DAZN, the sports dedicated channel, can only be viewed in the countries where it’s licensed. Australia is not one of them. This doesn’t mean that Aussies can’t access the service where they are. All you need is a VPN in order to watch DAZN in Australia.

How to Watch DAZN in Australia Using a VPN
DAZN is a premium live and on-demand sports service that offers more than 8,000 sports events a year. The service can be accessed in Austria, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, and in Canada where it was first launched. However, it is inaccessible in Australia. If you want to watch the channel in Australia, then you need to use a VPN to bypass the restrictions.
A VPN secures your online identity and offers you the opportunity to access blocked content from anywhere in the world. Furthermore, you are successfully able to hide from hackers, snoopers, and cybercriminals. All this is achieved through encryption and tunneling protocols utilized by a VPN. Here’s what you need to do to access DAZN in Australia:
- Sign up with a VPN service provider.
- Download and install the VPN application on your PC, Mac, Android, iOS device.
- Launch the VPN application and sign in using your VPN account.
- Now, connect to a server in the countries where DAZN is available (Germany, Canada, USA, etc.).
- Access and watch DAZN in Australia.

VPN Benefits
DAZN has been dubbed the “Netflix of sports”. Although a VPN can grant you access to that channel, it’s not all it can do. A VPN allows its users to securely access a private network, browse the web anonymously, and share data remotely through public networks. With a VPN, your traffic is sent through a secure tunnel before reaching the Internet. This process protects your data and keeps you away from online threats. Here are the many advantages of using a VPN.
- Avoid Surveillance: It prevents your Internet Service Providers from spying on your online activities.
- Access geo-restricted content: With a VPN you can access the worldwide content of any country using one of the VPN servers located in the country you choose.
- Save money: You can save money while shopping if you appear to be using an IP address of a country where your items are located.
- Ultimate security: A VPN encrypts all your data and traffic, which protects you from all kinds of malicious attacks.
Watch DAZN in Australia Using a VPN
DAZN is a sports broadcaster rapidly rising in popularity. You wouldn’t want to miss out on major sporting events just because you’re located in an unlicensed area. Fortunately, you can avoid this problem with a VPN. By choosing a server based in a DAZN region, you can mask your connection and watch DAZN as if you are a native resident.
Yes, it’s very frustrating that you can’t subscribe to DAZN without an account/credit card from one of the approved countries. I wonder if DAZN know how much money they are missing out on.
Hi all, I got a VPN to watch sports in the USA through ESPN+, and it was working ok until recently, where I now see some live events have ‘blackout’ on them, saying, it’s not available in your area. How do they know where I am if I have a connected VPN and I’ve turned off location services?
Hi Mark. Do you run into the same issues regardless of which American VPN server you’re connected to? What device are you using?
So once the VPN is accessible, how do we then create an acc when we are ovously not in a country that accepts dazn?
As TuMeke said, a VPN alone doesn’t work. Espn+ will work though with a VPN as long as your GPS is turned off. Not a bad alternative.
To make this work for me I had to get a VPN and a dedicated IP Address in the USA. It wouldn’t work with a VPN alone.
This doesn’t answer how you would actually get a Dazn account which won’t let you buy it if the money is coming from a non DAZN approved country.
