To those bummed right now, ESPN+ is a great alternative. It’s a subscription-based service that doesn’t need a long-term cable subscription. New subscribers can get a yearly ESPN+ subscription along with UFC 245 for only $79.99.

If you just want to sign up for ESPN+, you can do so by shelling out $4.99/month or $49.99/year. However, you’ll have to purchase the UFC event on its own after this.

It all depends on what you prefer. After you create an account and purchase the fight, you can stream it live in the US on iPad, Android, Roku, Chromecast, PlayStation, Apple TV, PC, Mac, iPhone, Xbox, or FireStick.

Stream UFC 245 in the United Kingdom

UFC hasn’t left its streaming home in the UK for a long time now. It’s always been BT Sport, and according to the deal, it’s not going anywhere any time soon.

BT Sport is one of the biggest broadcasters in the country. However, it made a move that provoked most of its customers. UFC events were part of the subscription package.

But lately, it has been offered as a PPV. In other words, fans will have to pay extra on top of their already-present subscription to get the fight.

I know, the fight is not expensive on BT. It’s just £19.95. But still, the logic says it. Why would fans pay such an amount of money to wake up at 6 a.m and watch a UFC Fight?

Some of them also threatened a boycott and said they’d resort to unofficial websites. If it comes to me, I don’t advise this. Always use an official website to stream your content, if not, you’re committing a crime.

Now back to BT Sport. It’s the same case as in the United States. UFC Fight Pass is also blacked out. Here’s how it looks.

The fight is on December 15th in your time and can be streamed live on BT Sport using Android, Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Mac, iOS, Apple TV, and Chromecast.

Usman vs. Covington in Australia

Australia also has a home for streaming UFC events, and it comes in the form of MainEvent. The land down under has a lot of MMA fans in the region.

The service is called MainEvent for a reason as it offers PPVs from several sports such as WWE, Boxing, AEW, Impact Wrestling, and of course, UFC.

You don’t need a subscription. All you’re required to do is purchase the event from the website, and you’re more than good to go.

Also, it’s considered to be much cheaper than other services around. The price is mostly equal to that of UFC Fight Pass, which comes at $54.95.

When you’re all set and done, you can stream UFC 245 live on Foxtel or Optus TV featuring Foxtel. Don’t worry; you have a lot of platform options, so your device has to be within the supported ones. You can watch the fight on Chromecast, PlayStation, iOS, Android, Xbox, Mac, Smart TVs, or Windows PC.

UFC 245 Live in Canada

When it comes to getting UFC fights in Canada, it gets a bit daunting. You see, you have two ways to watch the fight come December 14th, 2019. However, each service/channel will give you a chunk of the fight.

First, we have TSN, a Canadian channel well-known for covering dozens of sporting events in the region. The problem is that TSN only broadcasts the prelims as part of the deal with UFC.

In other words, those who are looking to watch the three title fights, TSN is not your goal. If not, and the prelims are enough for you, they can be streamed live onAndroid, iOS, PC, Mac, Xbox One, Apple TV, and Samsung Smart TV.

Now the second option will lack the prelims as they will be blacked out due to TSN owning the rights. However, you’ll still be able to watch the main card, which is a very good deal, don’t you think?

And yeah, most of you might have guessed it, you can do so using Fight Pass. All you have to do is pay $64.99, and the event is yours.

Usman vs. Covington Live Streaming in Germany

Although Sky Sports is a leading sports channel in the country, UFC already found a home for its events to be live-streamed.

In case you didn’t know, the promotion can be obtained through DAZN, one of the most popular streaming channels in the world nowadays.

The service first launched in Germany and then expanded to reach eight other countries. You get to see lots of different sports and promotions with a single subscription. No cable deals needed, just a simple monthly fee, and you get to tap into whatever DAZN has to offer.

The best thing about this is that UFC events are not your regular PPVs. You don’t have to buy them; they’ll be included within your subscription.

If you have a valid cable subscription, you can stream OSN’s content with complete ease. And no, don’t worry, it doesn’t charge you for the UFC 245 event as a PPV, so we’re not going to compare it to BT Sport.

Don’t forget, UFC Fight Pass won’t be an option in the region as well. Since OSN is the official broadcaster, the UFC service will be subject to blackouts.

Now, when it comes to compatible streaming devices, OSN doesn’t have much of a compatibility range. You’ll be able to stream UFC events on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

UFC Arabia

This is the game changer I’ve been talking about. The official streaming service in the MENA region which brings you everything there is to UFC events.

No, it’s not UFC Fight Pass, it’s UFC Arabia. The service is still very new, but very effective when it comes to content. You can get live updates, events, and even on-demand content with a push of a button.

The best part is that you don’t need a cable subscription. All you have to do is pay either $4.99/month or 49.99$/year. 

In my opinion, it’s a pretty good deal as you get every UFC event live or on-demand along with other types of content without paying an extra penny.

Since OSN is the official broadcaster in the region, one cannot but worry about blackout restrictions. Well, this is not the case with UFC Arabia. I contacted their support team to shed some light on the matter, here’s what they had to say:

So far, the service is available on PC, Mac, Android, iOS, and Chromecast. However, according to their official website, they’re planning to launch it on Roku, PlayStation, and Xbox by the end of the year.

Kodi Users Also Can Get UFC 245

For those who operate a Kodi application on their devices, UFC streaming is available and in the most legit way possible. You don’t have to download illegal and unofficial add-ons to get it; you can get DAZN. The process is very simple, just follow the steps below, and you’ll be a-okay.

1. Open Kodi Add-ons.
2. Select Install from Repository. It’s there in the My Add-ons section.
3. Click on Kodi Add-on Repository.
4. Pick Video Add-ons.
5. Hit on the DAZN Add-on followed by install
6. Go back to your Kodi Home Screen. Activate DAZN.

Don’t forget, DAZN is only available in Germany. This means you’ll have to use a VPN and shift your online location to appear as if you’re in the country. Just connect to a German server, subscribe to the service, and you’ll never miss a UFC fight again.

But what UFC channel is available on Fire Stick? The one and only, ESPN+. If you go to the Amazon Store, you’ll be able to download the application with ease.

However, as I mentioned, ESPN+ is a US-based channel, which means it can only be used within the country’s borders.

If you wish to bypass the regional restrictions imposed, you need to use a Virtual Private Network as well. But this time, unlike with Kodi’s DAZN, you need to connect to an American server to obtain a US IP address. Once done, ESPN+ will be accessible all over the world.

In case you didn’t know, FireStick is one of the few devices that support VPN clients. So this process should be very easy.

UFC 245 For Free?

Unfortunately, yes, you’ll find websites offering the event as a free live-stream. But as your guide for today, I don’t advise you to use any of them.

Streaming websites such as these ones are unofficial. In other words, illegal. They offer pirated content which may get you in trouble.

In case you didn’t know, UFC doesn’t tolerate such ways to view its content. A couple of years ago, the UFC took action against a website, illegally streaming two of its PPV events.

As part of its initiative against online piracy, Zuffa, LLC, owner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship took down the www.cagewatcher.eu website and is still searching for others to penalize.

Don’t encourage such websites just to save up on a few pennies. You don’t know what you’re getting yourself into. Other than that, these websites bombard you with ads, which will definitely ruin your streaming experience.

Also, some of them might affect your device with malware, which at the end of the day, might be a hacker targeting your device without you even knowing.

Stay safe and stick to official streaming methods such as the ones included in our list for the day. It’s ok to pay a few dimes unless you want to pay with your private information instead.

UFC 245: Usman vs. Covington

The T-Mobile Arena in shimmering Las Vegas, Nevada will host UFC 245 on December 14th, 2019. As I mentioned, there will be three title fights during the nights. However, the biggest of those title fights – and the one that’s been given top billing will showcase welterweight champion Kamaru Usman as he goes up against the polarizing challenger Colby Covington.

UFC had some problems to put this fight together, but after some very public talks and negotiations, we now have ourselves an epic main event for the final PPV of the year.

On the other hand, we have the featherweight division. It will feature a fight between champion Max Holloway (one of the most dominant titleholders in the UFC at present) and Australia’s Alexander Volkanovski, who is perhaps his toughest challenger to date. Alexander will be looking to snatch the straps, but will he be able to do that?

Finally, we get to the women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, who also holds the women’s featherweight title take on the former featherweight champ Germaine de Randamie. These two fights have crossed paths before, but this was a long time ago.

They both have gone to a whole new level and evolved to the stars they are today. So, this fight will be interesting as they will give each other some new looks in Sin City.
