UFC 246: McGregor vs. Cowboy Live Online

The epic bout will take place on January 18, 2020, at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, United States. But what if you can’t physically make it there? What streaming service has the official rights to broadcast UFC events in your country? Worry not. UFC has made a name for itself on a global scale. So, no matter where you reside, there is a way to stream the upcoming UFC 246 live. Let’s take a look:

UFC 246 Live in the United States

USA Flag IconBack in 2018, Fox had the rights to distribute UFC MMA content in the USA. However, in 2019, ESPN got everything UFC related, and it won’t be going anywhere in the near future as well.

You can watch the newest UFC fight on ESPN+, which is ESPN’s OTT service that doesn’t require a cable subscription to operate. Just subscribe, and you can cancel anytime you like.

If you’re still new to the service, you can purchase the UFC Bundle. This will cost you $79.98. With it, you won’t be just getting the UFC 246 event, but a year-long subscription to ESPN+ as well.

In other words, the bundle gives you UFC 246 at $29.98 as a yearly ESPN+ subscription costs $50 alone. By the time of writing, the event is still not available to purchase.

In the upcoming days, ESPN+ will make if officially accessible. On the other hand, if you already have an ESPN+ subscription, you can get the fight on its own.

Also, please note that UFC Fight Pass will be blacked out during the event. You won’t be able to purchase UFC 246 in any way as ESPN+ holds the official TV rights to the promotion in the United States.

Oh, you’ll know that the service is blocked. If the new version of the service is anything like the old one, this error message will appear:

“Due to broadcast restrictions, this video is not available within a UFC Fight Pass subscription or as a Pay-Per-View in your region. Please check your local TV listing for viewing information. This event is currently blocked out in your region.”

Now, once you get an ESPN+ subscription and purchase the UFC 246 PPV, you can watch Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone live on iPad, Android, PlayStation, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, PC, Mac, iPhone, Xbox, or FireStick.

Donald Cerrone vs. Conor McGregor in the United Kingdom

UK Flag Icon 1For a while now, BT Sport has had the official broadcasting rights to UFC in the United Kingdom. A while ago, particularly during UFC 239, BT Sport to a huge decision to include the upcoming fights in its PPV section.

Well, that backfired as most of the subscribers threatened to boycott the channel’s services. Also, fans started to search for pirated websites where they can watch the fights for free.

As you may know, BT Sport included the fights within a customer’s subscription. Now, they’re offering it as a side order for £20. Searching for illegal ways to stream the fight does not only affect UFC and BT Sport (8 million subscribers) but all premium broadcasters.

That’s not all. Fans were also upset that they have to pay extra on top of their subscription so that they can watch the event as they stay awake all night.

We still don’t know if the upcoming event will be shown on BT Sport 1 at no extra cost or if it’s going to be a PPV. But what we do know is the Fight Pass also doesn’t operate in the UK when it comes to live events.

In other words, just like with ESPN+, BT Sport is the official broadcaster in the country, which means that Fight Pass is totally blacked out.

Finally, if you don’t mind staying up late and you already have a subscription, make sure to fire up those BT Sport apps and watch the Octagon action on your Android, Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Mac, iOS, Apple TV, and Chromecast.

Stream the UFC: McGregor vs. Cerrone Event in Australia

Australian Flag IconMainEvent has been the one and only attraction to UFC fans in the Land Down Under. If you want to watch any fight, any PPV event, this service is the one you’re looking for.

It doesn’t matter what the sport or promotion is, if it’s combat, it’s definitely Main Event. You can watch the likes of WWE, Boxing, AEW, Impact, Wrestling, and definitely, the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

With that much content, you’ll definitely be amazed since the channel is very cheap. It costs you $54.95 to buy the fight, which you can access either via Foxtel or Opus on your Chromecast, PlayStation, iOS, Android, Xbox, Mac, Smart TVs, or Windows PC.

UFC 246 Live-Streaming in Canada

Canadian Flag IconIn Canada, things can get a bit tricky when it comes to streaming UFC events. You see, the country has two official broadcasters, with each one covering a chunk of a certain event.

First, you have TSN, which is the official channel for watching the UFC preliminary card. So, in other words, if the main event is what you’re seeking, TSN is not your goal.

The main event is the main focus of the event; it’s the return of Conor McGregor after all. But TSN is an option and the only one actually to watch the prelims.

So, if you’re already using TSN, you can stream the undercard live on Android, iOS, PC, Mac, Xbox One, Apple TV, and Samsung Smart TV, come January 18th, 2020.

On the other hand, you also have a way to watch the main fight of the event using UFC’s own streaming service, UFC Fight Pass. You can opt for the service and purchase the event as a PPV when the time is due. The subscription is not expensive; it costs $9.99/month and 95.99/year.Fight Pass in Canada

The best thing about Fight Pass is that it’s compatible with almost any device you may own. That includes the likes of Apple TV, Smart TV, Roku, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Mac, Windows, Android, or iOS.

Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone in Germany

Germany-FlagGermany perhaps has the best way possible to stream UFC events in the world. The online service offers live and on-demand streaming of events from various properties.

DAZN, one of the most popular streaming channels in the world nowadays, has more than 4 million subscribers

The channel is subscription-based, which means it does not need any cable subscription or long term contracts to operate. Unlike its worthy adversary, Sky Deutch.

Also, the good news continues as the channel offers such PPV events for free as part of your subscription. You don’t have to pay an extra dime to obtain them.

DAZN stands at EUR11.99/month in Germany. It’s an amazing price if you look at what the channel has to offer in return. DAZN Germany Subscription

As I mentioned, your PPV event will be offered as part of your subscription. Once you create a DAZN account, you can watch the new UFC 246 live on Windows PC, macOS, Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, Fire Stick, Android, Apple TV, Xbox, and PlayStation.

McGregor vs. Cerrone in the Middle East

The MENA region has always had a home for UFC events, OSN. The channel and the promotion cut one heck of a deal that ensures streaming of all UFC content, including live events, shoulder programming, and The Ultimate Fighter reality series.

Having a cable subscription will earn you a direct ticket to the amazing world of UFC. Come on, who doesn’t have a cable subscription in the Middle East? You basically get that before getting furniture for your house.

Speaking of cable subscriptions, this one is so much different than BT Sport. It does not charge you anything extra if you want to watch live PPV events. UFC 246 and the rest of the upcoming fights are for free within your subscription.

Don’t try to get around and use Fight Pass. The service is also blacked out in the region due to OSN being the official broadcaster and all. You know the deal.

However, if a subscription-based service is what you’re looking for, then try UFC Arabia. The service is new but has become an excellent way to keep up with what the UFC has to offer.

It costs $4.99/month or 49.99$/year, which is great considering you’ll be accessing every event live.UFC Arabia Subscription

One thing troubled me when I was testing the service, Blackouts. If the Fight Pass service is blacked out, what makes this one any different? Well, I contacted their support, and they assured me that the service is fully functional no matter what. Here’s what they had to say:

UFC Arabia Reply

Now that you know what you can accomplish with UFC Arabia, get an account, and stream UFC 246 live on PC, Mac, Android, iOS, and Chromecast.

Do You Own a Kodi? Stream McGregor vs. Cerrone Using It

Having Kodi installed on your device is a gateway to a whole new streaming experience. The platform allows you to download official add-ons, aiding you of live streaming almost anything TV has to offer.

  1. Run your Kodi App.
  2. Go to Kodi Add-ons.Enter Kodi Add-ons
  3. Choose Install from Repository. You’ll find it in the My Add-ons section. Install From Repository Section

You must know that the DAZN add-on only operates in Germany. So, if you want to access it abroad, you’re going to have to use a VPN and shift your online location to the country.

All you need to do is connect to a VPN server in Germany, obtain a German IP address, and DAZN is all yours for the taking.

What About FireStick?

Fire Stick is well-known to be the ultimate streaming platform around the world. Ever since Amazon introduced us to Fire TV and FireStick, our streaming experience reached a whole new level.

Now, Fire Stick has also become a way to stream UFC events. How? Well, ESPN+ is one of the channels that have dedicated apps on the device. But the problem lies in your location.

If you live outside the US, the service won’t be accessible. It might even terminate your access before you sign in with your credentials. The solution is, as with Kodi, a VPN.

Just connect to a server in the United States, and you’ll be able to watch ESPN+ on Fire Stick no matter where you are.

Can you Watch Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerronefor Free?

Sadly, yes. There are dozens of ways to stream UFC PPV free of cost. You see, millions of users watch video streams on the Internet, but while some streaming services provide authorized material, it’s inevitable that others will offer illegal content too.

If it’s free while using a pirated site, it’s definitely illegal, and you’ll be penalized for using it. Whether you’re the one possessing the video or engaging in one, there are precautions.

A while ago, I never imagined that UFC could catch someone red-handed while unofficially streaming its content. Well, the promotion proved me wrong and caught a user in the act.

The streamer was ordered to pay $2,000 in statutory damages, which is basically $1000 per streamed event. Also, he paid $4,000 in enhanced damages and $5,948.70 in attorney’s fees and costs.

In total, the guy paid $11,948.70 just to stream two PPV events that may have cost him a $100 or so. Why would you get yourself in so much trouble, or possibly a big debt, if you can opt for an official service?

Plus, these websites can be dangerous as they may be hosted by a hacker. You could compromise a lot of information, especially if the website asks you to sign up for free. Be careful and always settle for the legal way.
