As of 02 December 2019 ExpressVPN has terminated their ‘Sweden – 2’ server and only provides the ‘Sweden’ server. Unfortunately that means you can no longer access geo restricted material from outside of Sweden using ExpressVPN as only the former server provided that.
I’ve just checked and it appears you’re right. I suggest giving BulletVPN or Unlocator a go instead.
A few weeks ago my VPN stopped working – I cannot access files on SVT that are locked for foreigners. Same thing actually happens on Netflix Sweden. Blocking program the VPN can’t beat?
And of course I have all the latest versions of everything…

Hello Jack. Yes, either method works with Roku. However, you will have to configure your router to get it working.
I am in Vancouver Canada and use to have SVT.Play and all of a sudden it is gone.

Just tried using tunnelbear (newly installed) here in Thailand to watch SVT play. No go either (I wonder if they’ve done the same thing as Netflix)
Hi Michael. I have not tested Tunnelbear and cannot confirm whether it does unblock SVT Play outside Sweden. You could try switching to a different Swedish VPN server if Tunnelbear has multiple Swedish VPN servers. If not, the only alternatives would be using another VPN provider or turning to Smart DNS instead.
